Paris

Paris is the capital of France. It is situated on the river Seine in northern France. Paris is the one of the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe.
Have you ever been in France? If you have not been there, you should visit particularly Paris. Paris is considered for the one of the most romantic place of world and is known as a „town of lights“. Reason, why Paris is favourite city, is that you can find there a lot of historic monuments, beautiful places, museums and night life, a lot of restaurants or museums and theatres.
Among the famous monuments belong the Notre Dame de Paris, the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur and Louvre, where is the one of the largest and most famous museums. You can see there the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo statue. The Louvre Museum is a national museum of France and in the past, the Louvre was castle of French kings, but today it is the one of the largest museum of world. You can see there glass pyramid, which is main entry into the castle. The Cathedral Notre Dame is cathedral built in gotical style and is situated in the centre of Paris.

Place de la Bastille has historical value, the square and its surrounding areas are called Bastille. At the centre of the square stands the Bastille Opera, the Bastille subway station.
The one of the famous symbols of Paris is the Arc de Triomphe, which was built by Napoleon Bonaparte. It is beginning of famous Avenue de Camps-Elysees. Champs-Elysees is one of the many tourist attractions and a major shopping street of Paris. The Invalides museum is the burial place for many great French soldiers. There is military museum with collections of objects from big fights and wars.
In Paris there are about 400 parks and public gardens. Night life offers various evenings show. Very interesting night club, cabaret-dancehall is Moulin Rouge. It is known with red windmill on the roof.

A lot of tourists like visiting Disneyland. Disneyland belongs among the major tourists attraction. This entertaining park consists of Fantasyland, Frontierland, Adventureland and Discoveryland.
Paris would not be Paris without the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is the one of the most famous monuments in the world. The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel in 1889 for the World Fair. This elegant metallic construction has 324 metres and belongs to register of world’s heritage UNESCO. The Eiffel Tower has tree levels, on the first level there are souvenir shops, the second level offers restaurant and at the top you can see Office of Gustav Eiffel, which have been reconstructed recently. The Eiffel Tower can provide you beautiful view on country. Paris is the most glamorous city in Europe and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
