Acapulco

One of the most exciting cities in the world is Acapulco. It is a city and major sea port in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Acapulco is a popular place for tourists. It is famous for its postcard beaches, explosive nightlife, first-class hotels, unlimited water sports and gourmet restaurants. Acapulco offers an incredible number of various activities. It has attractions that provide plenty of things to do and see. Acapulco is home to four championship golf courses and another 9 holes course that is located right in the tourist zone. You can go to Acapulco Princess Golf Course or Mayan Palace Acapulco's Golf Course, which is one of the most spectacular courses on the Mexican Pacific.

Mayan Palace Acapulco's Golf Course also offers the Putting Green, Driving Range and Golf Lessons. Very popular is the snorkelling and Scuba diving or Sport fishing, which is some of the most famous in the world. Acapulco has glorious golden sandy beaches.












Playa Caleta and Playa Caletilla are two small beaches with combine calm waters and great atmosphere. One of the most popular of the city beaches is Playa Condesa. It is also the home of the giant bungee jumping attraction and Paradise Bungy. Coyuca Lagoon is one of the most picturesque and colourful parts of Acapulco. His beautiful fresh water lagoon is considered to be one of the most important natural attractions of Acapulco.



You can find there the Papagayo Park. It is one of the best municipal parks in Mexico with carnival rides, go-karts, roller skating rinks and skateboard courses. There is a life-size model of a Spanish galleon, a race track with Can Am cars, a lagoon with bumper boats and a botanical garden. Acapulco’s newest family friendly attraction is Aqua Planet, which offers Aqua Golf-Miniature golf course, Aqua Wall-Rock climbing, Aqua Bump-Motorboats, Aqua Kids- Pool and park area. Other attractions are CiCi or Aca Zoo. CiCi is a water park located along the Acapulco Bay and it is a family-oriented theme park with great wave pools, seal and dolphin shows or toboggans . Aca Zoo is a modern zoo located in the Roqueta Island where you may observe many animal species. It has a children playground, food court and swimming facilities. Acapulco has some of remarkable monuments. Very attractive can be Palma Solam, the Ancient ruins or the El Fuerte Del Virrey, which is the old pirate ship and historic site. The underwater monument to the Virgin of Guadeloupe is the Capilla Submarina. Mural Diego Rivera is one of the city's most important cultural artefacts. The Chapel of Peace and Acapulco Cathedral are two of the city's most important religious landmarks. La Quebrada is perhaps Acapulco's most iconic attraction. Acapulco is home to a handful of cultural attractions and museums. You can also visit the Acapulco Historical Museum, House of Masks or Casa de la Mascara, Centro Cultural de Acapulco or gallery of Casa de Mascaras. The Zocalo or City Square is the main public square in town. This town square is a peaceful area with ice cream stands and sidewalk cafes. Acapulco is a great vacation destination.
