
Royal Park is the largest urban public park in the centre of Brussels. It is surrounded by the Royal Palace of Brussels, the Belgian parliament and the U.S.A. embassy. Very famous Brussels landmark is the Manneken Pis. It is a small bronze fountain of a small peeing boy and it is a famous tourist attraction and symbol of the city. The Atomium is a symbolic 103 metres tall structure that was built for the 1958 World’s Fair. It consists of nine steel spheres connected by tubes and forms a model of an iron crystal.

Mini-Europe hosts a set of scale models of famous European structures. Mini-Europe is the only park where you can do a tour of Europe in a few short hours. You can see the typical atmosphere of the most beautiful towns of the old Continent. Cultural facilities include the Brussels Theatre, the La Monnaie Theatre and opera house. Brussels contains over 40 museums including the Museum of Modern Art, and the Royal Museums of Fine Arts, the Museum of the Army or the Comic Museum. Brussels is known for its local waffle, its chocolate, its French fries and its numerous types of beers. Family with their children can visit an amusement park Walibi or Aquilibi, which is a water park with tropical theme. There can find wave machine, rivers and the biggest Jacuzzi in Belgium. Brussels is Belgium’s largest city and has a vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere.
